Incorporation is the official process of registering a limited company in the UK with the Registrar of Companies. The incorporation process requires that the applicant submits a memorandum and articles of association with a covering letter and any statutory forms and fees. On incorporation a certificate is issued to the company stating the unique company number, name, date of incorporation and official seal, the company is then formally listed on the register at Companies House in Cardiff.
