A formal proceeding into the conduct of an employee based on a company's disciplinary policy. The employee in question is entitled to a full hearing regarding the matter in the presence of a witness if desired. There is legislation before Parliament which serves to regulate disciplinary hearings and provide a statutory form for such matters.
